Members of the Kare community came together today to mark National Adult Safeguarding Day 2023.
At a special event in Kare's McMahon Centre in Kilcullen, we launched a suite of accessible videos about safeguarding as well as an easy-read policy called 'Keeping Me Safe'.
This new safeguarding content was developed and created by the Voice for Kare group, which represents the people who use Kare's services.
Lisa McNabb spoke to the audience on behalf of Voice for Kare, along with Jacinta Barrett, Social Work Team Leader at Kare, and Deirdre Murphy, Kare CEO.
